Description Here's a great entry-level laptop for mobile computing. This Toshiba Satellite laptop's bright, 15.6-inch HD display showcases movies and games in stunning cinema clarity. Its 320GB hard drive has plenty of room for your music, photos, videos, documents, and more. The 802.11b/g/n Wifi let's you connect wirelessly at home and in coffee shops, airports and offices around the world. While the 2GB of memory and AMD dual-core E-300 accelerated processor are definitely bottom end, this laptop is adequate for basic office computing, entertainment and Internet browsing experiences. Plus, the built-in webcam and microphone makes it easy to video chat with family and friends. With a multiformat media card reader, 2 high-speed USB 2.0 ports, and a 6-cell battery for nearly 6 hours of use away from an outlet, for the price-conscious buy it's a great value for everyday mobile computing. The D810 is built around the new Centrino platform and Pentium M CPU (the 2.13-GHz Pentium M 770 in our configuration). Our test unit also had 1GB of DDR2 RAM and ATI Radeon X600 (128MB) graphics. It's SYSMark Internet Content Creation score (186) and Office Productivity score (123) were at the top of notebooks we've tested recently. Despite all the energy-draining components, the D810 delivered a very good 4 hours 33 minutes of runtime). Credit the large chassis, which can accommodate a big 80-Wh battery.
